Ethical

The US has done many of things through the media. Distracting us from everyday crisis, entertaining us, and giving us information. Surely without the media, we would have all been ill informed about anything that goes on around the country or even outside of the country or we could all be dead because of the warning broadcasts that won't be sent out. The interesting part of the media is that it uses the art of rhetoric to approach us. At many times they use the ethical rhetoric. They give us our taste of a person's appearence. Naturally, a show with "model-like figures and facial structures" are a high time rating show. It's not their faults they use these certain types of appearences. They're just appealing to the average mind. The media shows an appealing image to our mind. But, how does the media capture the attention of the public that doesn't know what channel to look to or even what to look for. Since subliminal messaging has been explicitley banned, they use public advertisements the best way they can. Thus, using rhetorical strageties to abrubtly capture our attentions through the usage of bright colors and certain words that are appealing.
